The HRDRC community hosted a Christmas celebration for the boys and girls of St. Xavier’s Social Service Centre and its sister home Aruna Bhavan on 22nd December 2018. The entire 51 boys and 41 girls were present for the festivity. The celebration began with a group game for children conducted by Fr. Boby and assisted by Fr. Amrit. Then Santa appeared with a basket on which lay a baby Jesus. The jubilant group of both boys and girls resounded the HRDRC premises with cherubic Christmas carols. They sang mainly in Nepali but also presented a few carols in Hindi. The joy of children was overwhelming that they presented two dances in Nepali Christmas songs for the Fathers. They then relished the sumptuous dinner and Christmas cake. Indeed, the boys and girls filled our hearts with joy of Christmas. We wished them too a joyful Christmas.
