The early morning sun rays peered through the leaves and branches of trees next to the stage of MMS. The school children eagerly were waiting to see Santa as they heard he would be appearing very soon. But they had to wait. There was a cultural bonanza on Christmas theme for them before Santa would appear. The teachers and a few students played out the nativity scene and sang Christmas carols to the serene environment of Maheshpur. Ms. Sheela Rai one of the teachers delivered the Christmas message and emphasised that “God is love and we are all invited to share and witness the love of God to all”. Then appeared the Santa with his magic stick and sack of gifts (Chocolates) for the Children. Now the joy of children rose in leaps and bounds. Each trying to catch the clock of Santa. Well, Santa gave away the school kids the gifts. Children welled up with smile! and Santa left.
